Generative Audio and The Future of Game Sound Design, by Stephan Schütze

Sound design expert Stephan Schütze has written a worthwhile op-ed on generative audio over at Develop. Beginning with his first experiences using generative capabilities on game sound design for Playstation 2, Schütze, the publisher behind Foundation's sound effects libraries (plus the Aviation Collection and Ambient Textures), gives a brief overview of the process and its open-ended potential before arguing why generative audio will soon be the status quo.

For more info about any of the Foundation Libraries, or for general sound effects licensing questions, contact licensing@prosoundeffects.com or call us at 646-706-7728 x10.
