Overview
Antwerp Ambisonics is a collection of 39 city ambisonic recordings captured throughout the vibrant soundscape of Antwerp, Belgium. Enliven cities, villages and towns in your projects with characteristic narrow streets, church bells, alleyways and more. Captured in 24-bit/96kHz with a Sennheiser AMBEO VR mic by recordist Matt Snedecor, this library was recorded at various locations throughout the city of Antwerp including bustling city centers, quaint side streets, restaurants, hotels, parks, and more. Detailed metadata includes coordinates and cross streets for maximum geographic clarity.
All recordings are provided in both stereo and Ambisonic B-format (FuMa). Using the free SoundField by RØDE plugin, the Ambisonics format allows you to point “virtual microphones” in real-time, change polar patterns, and decode to mono, stereo, 5.1, 7.1 and beyond for endless creative possibilities.
