Captured by recordist Coll Anderson, this library features 24-bit/96kHz recordings from hand-picked locations throughout New York City, with a focus on Manhattan and Brooklyn. As a follow-up to Pro Sound Effects’ popular NYC Ambisonics library, NYC Ambisonics Vol. 2 maintains the standard of quality while expanding the sonic offering to a range of useful new locations.

All recordings are provided in both stereo and Ambisonic B-format (FuMa). Using the free SoundField by RØDE plugin, the Ambisonics format allows you to point “virtual microphones” in real-time, change polar patterns, and decode to mono, stereo, 5.1, 7.1 and beyond for endless creative possibilities.
